FAQ
Landscaping template questions
Have a question we didn't cover? Book a demo and ask a product specialist.
Should I bill labor by the hour or bury it in the items?
Either works. Showing hours helps on larger installs; on small jobs an installed price per plant is simpler.
How do I handle design fees?
Add a design line at the top. Many landscapers credit it back if the install is booked, which you can show as a negative line.
Do the formulas work in Google Sheets?
Yes. The line totals, subtotal, taxable amount, tax, deposit and balance use standard functions (SUM, SUMIF, ROUND, IF) that work in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers.
