How it works

How payments works in Homeforce

Payments are part of the job, not a separate terminal — so every dollar ties back to the customer, invoice, and tech.

In person

Get paid before the tailgate closes.

Techs take tap to pay on their phone, or use a card reader for dip and swipe. Customers can split a payment across cards or put part on financing.

What it can look like

FAQ

Payments questions, answered.

Have a question we didn't cover? Book a demo and ask a product specialist.

Which payment methods can I accept?

Credit and debit cards, tap to pay with digital wallets, ACH bank transfers, saved payment methods, and consumer financing — on site, by text, or in the customer portal.

Do I need separate hardware?

No. Tap to pay works on supported phones with no extra hardware. A card reader is available if you want dip and swipe as well.

How fast do payments reach my bank?

Standard deposits arrive on a regular schedule. Instant payouts can move available funds to your bank account in minutes when you need cash the same day.

Are payments secure?

Yes. Card details are tokenized and never stored on the tech's device or visible to your staff, and saved methods require the customer's authorization.

Do payments sync to QuickBooks?

Yes. Payments and deposits sync to QuickBooks and match to the invoices they paid, so reconciliation takes minutes.
