Homeforce vs GorillaDesk
Homeforce vs GorillaDesk
GorillaDesk is built for route businesses: pest control, lawn and pool companies that run the same customers on a fixed cycle. Homeforce is built for call-driven service and sold work, with recurring visits handled through memberships. If weekly routes are your business, read the recurring row first.

GorillaDesk at a glance
Route-based field service software for pest control, lawn, pool and other recurring-service businesses
GorillaDesk is field service software that leads with pest control and also serves lawn care, landscaping, pool and spa, cleaning and other trades. It has served businesses since 2013, prices by route rather than by user, and is built around recurring jobs, route optimization and automated billing. Its mosquito control page describes treatment cycles of every 14, 21 or 30 days.[2],[1],[3]
Pricing: As of November 2026, for the first route: Basic $49/month, Pro $99/month, Growth $149/month. Additional routes cost $30–$100/month each depending on plan. Users are unlimited on every plan. Texting is a $5/month number plus prepaid SMS credits ($50 for 1,000). Month-to-month, no setup fees, 14-day free trial with no card.[1]
What GorillaDesk does well
- Unlimited admin, manager, sales and crew users on every plan; only technicians assigned to a route need a paid seat.[1]
- True repeating schedules: recurring jobs repeat daily, weekly, monthly or annually at a set interval (for example every 14 days), and invoices can repeat on their own billing frequency.[4],[3]
- Built for route density: route optimization on every plan (25-stop limit on Basic), Drive Matrix routing and GPS tracking on Pro, and a MantisAI route optimizer agent.[1],[2]
- Low entry price with a 14-day trial, no card, no contracts and free data migration.[1]
- AI agents answer calls, texts, web chat and portal questions, billed per completed conversation ($1.00 static, $1.75 dynamic).[6]
Worth knowing
- Cost scales with routes: 3 routes run $149–$299/month and 5 routes $209–$399/month depending on plan.[1]
- Customer portal, online booking, e-signatures, QuickBooks Online sync, Zapier and GPS tracking start on Pro; the sales pipeline and estimate packages are on Growth.[1]
- Texting is billed separately: a $5/month number plus prepaid credits for outgoing texts.[1]
- Offline mode in the app stores only the current Monday–Sunday week, and job and invoice details are view-only offline.[5]
- Free migration covers contact details, addresses, notes and a starting balance; full past service and billing history isn't imported.[1]

Fit
Where Homeforce fits better
Quarterly or monthly plans, not weekly routes
If your recurring work is quarterly perimeter treatments or monthly service, a membership with 4 or 12 visits a year bills the customer and creates each visit as a job three weeks ahead. Dispatchers place them on the board.
You also sell one-time work
Termite work, landscape installs or pool equipment replacements need estimates. Homeforce gives you options, e-signature, deposits and automatic follow-ups on every plan, and good / better / best on Pro.
Techs need more than this week offline
The Homeforce app keeps visits from yesterday through the next six days on the phone, and techs can build estimates and invoices offline, not just view them.
A dispatcher runs the day
Timeline, map and capacity views show who's booked and who has room, so reactive calls can be fit around scheduled work.
Who should stay with GorillaDesk
If you run weekly or every-other-week routes, such as weekly pool cleaning, mowing or 14-day mosquito cycles, stay on GorillaDesk. Homeforce has no standalone repeat-every-X-weeks setting today, and a membership tops out at 12 visits a year; anything more frequent means adding visits to a job by hand. GorillaDesk's per-route pricing with unlimited users, routing on every plan, and QuickBooks and Zapier connections that work today also make it the better fit for a route-dense operation.

Switching from GorillaDesk
Export customers and service addresses from GorillaDesk as CSV and import them into Homeforce as a spreadsheet: customers first, then properties. Recreate recurring customers as memberships with the right visits per year, and use Create due maintenance jobs on the Memberships page to bring the next 30 days of visits onto the board. Rebuild your pricebook before the first visit.
FAQ
Homeforce vs GorillaDesk: common questions
Have a question we didn't cover? Book a demo and ask a product specialist.
Can Homeforce run a weekly pool or mowing route?
Not as a repeating schedule today. Recurring visits come from memberships, which allow up to 12 visits a year. For weekly or biweekly service you'd add visits to a job yourself. GorillaDesk supports weekly and custom-interval recurring jobs.
How do quarterly pest treatments work in Homeforce?
Create a membership plan with 4 visits a year, billed quarterly. Visits are spread across the year, and each one becomes an unscheduled job tagged Membership about 21 days before it's due.
Which is cheaper for a 5-tech pest company?
As of November 2026, GorillaDesk lists 5 routes at $209 (Basic), $299 (Pro) or $399 (Growth) a month, plus texting. Homeforce Pro is $299 a month for up to 10 techs, with route optimization and memberships included; texting runs through a connected Quo account.
Does Homeforce track chemical or material use?
Homeforce has checklists and custom forms techs complete on each visit, which can capture what was applied. It doesn't have a dedicated pesticide usage report.
Does Homeforce connect to QuickBooks like GorillaDesk?
Not yet. QuickBooks Online is listed as coming soon in Homeforce. GorillaDesk includes QuickBooks Online sync on its Pro and Growth plans.
Does Homeforce optimize routes?
Yes, on Pro and up. Optimize routes re-orders each tech's remaining scheduled visits for the day to cut miles, without breaking promised arrival windows. It works on the day's schedule; it doesn't build standing routes.
