How to use it
- 1Download the template. Download the air duct cleaning estimate or invoice (.xlsx). It opens in Excel, Google Sheets and Apple Numbers.
- 2Add your company and customer. Fill in the shaded company, customer and service-address cells, and set the document number and date.
- 3Replace the example lines. The example is a whole-home air duct cleaning. Duct cleaning is priced per system plus per vent, with dryer vents and coil cleaning as add-ons. Change the items, quantities and unit prices to your own; line totals and the subtotal update automatically.
- 4Set tax and deposit. Mark each line taxable (Y) or not (N), enter your sales tax rate, and set the deposit percent (the example collects none, so the balance equals the total).
- 5Review terms and send. Edit the terms to match your policies, save a copy for the customer, and export to PDF to send.
Tips for air duct cleaning estimates
- Count vents on site and enter them as the quantity; it's the fairest way to scale price.
- Include before-and-after photos with the invoice.
- Offer dryer vent cleaning as an add-on line; it's a fire-safety item customers often skip.
Air duct cleaning terms included
- Cleaning follows the NADCA ACR standard; before-and-after photos are provided.
- Sanitizer is applied only with the customer's consent and per EPA-registered label directions.
Plus standard validity and payment terms. Edit all of them to match your policies and local law.
FAQ
Air duct cleaning template questions
Have a question we didn't cover? Book a demo and ask a product specialist.
Should I use a flat price per home?
Per-vent pricing scales with the home and is easy to explain. If you prefer flat pricing, use one line with the vent count in the description.
What standard should I reference?
NADCA's ACR standard is the industry's assessment, cleaning and restoration standard for HVAC systems.
Do the formulas work in Google Sheets?
Yes. The line totals, subtotal, taxable amount, tax, deposit and balance use standard functions (SUM, SUMIF, ROUND, IF) that work in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers.
