FAQ

Work order generator questions

Have a question we didn't cover? Book a demo and ask a product specialist.

What's the difference between a work order and an invoice?

A work order tells your crew what to do. The invoice bills the customer afterward. Many shops turn the completed work order into the invoice.

Should customers sign work orders?

A customer signature on completion is useful evidence that the work was done and accepted, especially for warranty or billing disputes.

Can work orders go to my techs' phones?

Paper and PDFs work, but in Homeforce techs see their jobs, notes and photos in the mobile app and mark them complete there.
